About Dad

Dad passed away at 83 on October 15, 2014. He lived a long and fruitful life, being born prior to the start of WWII and living long enough to see the new century. Dad was a former military personnel, achieving the rank of full Colonel by the time he was 44 but chose to retire a couple of years after that. He travelled the world extensively having seen Europe including Eastern Europe during the Soviet sphere of influence, the US, much of North Africa, and much of Asia.

Dad was well loved and respected by his peers and friends. He married a beautiful and talented girl, Tooran Khajenouri, and had four children and two grand children. He lost his daughter, Nazdaneh Zahadat, DDS, through a horrible tragedy from which he never recovered. He will be missed.
